Why does a business company need to use Odoo Payroll?
Sometimes large companies that have a lot of employees tend to find it difficult to manage their employees. Therefore, Odoo provides a Human Resource feature to help companies manage existing employees easily and systematically, including in terms of payroll. In payroll, of course there are many components that are very important so that there are no errors in the numbers. Odoo Payroll applies the principle of easy to use, gain time, and avoid mistakes. Which means that by using this easy-to-use and accurate Odoo Payroll, we can save time compared to using several payroll applications or just calculating manually.
Payroll configuration can be done as follows:
- Payroll Module -> On the employee contract -> Fill in the contract start and end date, salary structure (employee or worker), HR Responsible, contract document, and salary information
- Click on the Salary Information tab -> Fill in the wage/month field if the salary structure type is Employee and wage/hours if the salary structure is Worker
- Save and Running Contract
- Next we go to the Payroll module -> payslips -> all payslips -> create payslip
- Enter the employee name and payroll period then Compute Sheet
- On the Salary Computation tab
- Click Create draft entry to confirm the payslip so that the status becomes Done
- If the payslip has been paid by the company, click Mark as Paid
