Cannot Be Replaced by AI

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia –While many people are afraid that their jobs will be taken by AI, Bill Gates says otherwise. The philanthropist and founder of Microsoft ensures that there are several jobs that are immune to AI technology.

According to him, there are indeed several things that cannot be replaced by machines. These jobs can only be done by humans.

One example is a baseball player, because it is impossible for a machine to replace people playing baseball.

Even so, some jobs will still be replaced by AI, such as doctors and teachers who will probably no longer need human services in the future.

Gates said that both jobs will become common and free.

In addition, the food industry from upstream to downstream will also be disrupted by AI. “But to make and move things and grow food, over time it will become a problem that can be solved,” Gates, quoted Sunday (1/6/2025).

That means the world will enter an era of free intelligence. At that time, AI technology will be easily accessible and touch every aspect of human life.

For example, medicine, diagnosis, teaching, to virtual assistants that can be done with AI technology. Gates said that all of these changes will happen quickly and without limits.

“It’s profound and a little scary because it happens quickly and there are no limits,” he explained.
