Jess No Limit Says AI
Technology Can Help Content Creators
Jakarta, IDN TIME- Content creator Jess No Limit agrees that artificial intelligence (AI) will not replace humans as is currently feared. Those who do not use this technology may compete with humans who use AI.
In the context of creating content, the man whose real name is Tobias Justin said that he also relies on this technology in creating content.
This was explained at the Indonesia Millennial and Gen Z Summit (IMGS) 2024 event in the “Digital Frontier: Navigating The Future of Media with Technology” session in Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/22/2024).
Make it easier for content creators
Today, many online platforms already use AI. Unlike in the past, where video editing had to use a PC or laptop.
“Nowadays, the door to becoming a content creator is easier than before. With short videos and vertical formats, people go viral more easily than in the past,” he said.
With AI, users can sort videos to take interesting parts and remove boring parts. Users can also add captions that are up to 80 percent accurate. There are many more functions that can be obtained from its existence.
“We can ask them (AI) to list 100 idea options. So maybe not to replace, but to work together with AI. I am really helped by the ideas from making thumbnails. But the fastest is subtitles, 80-90 percent of the words spoken are correct,” explained Jess No Limit further.
Make research time more efficient
Not only Jess No Limit, Founder and CEO of IDN, Winston Utomo admitted to being of the same opinion.
“When I want to research a new topic in a new industry, previously it could take 3-4 hours. I pull several articles, I look for research papers, I look for topics, I read, write then make a framework, and so on,” said Winston.
However, with AI, it only takes 30 minutes by giving prompts or commands. The remaining time that is usually spent on research can be used for other productivity.
“My point is, if we don’t utilize technology, we will be left behind. If we want to continue to be at the forefront, we must be able to work together to run this, so that we can continue to be at the forefront. Many of the activities that I do are greatly helped,” Winston explained further.
Lenovo prepares technology for all groups
On the same occasion, Hendry Lim, Consumer Product Manager of Lenovo Indonesia, admitted that he has a vision of preparing technology for all groups, not only for professionals, but also beginners.
“We prepare everything, we prepare the technology and we prepare the devices. In terms of hardware, for example, we have a CPU that already has an NPU. So it can run AI applications more efficiently and faster. The battery will also last longer. We want to be a pioneer, the first to present this technology to the community,” added Hendry.
The AI built by Lenovo is claimed to be more personal. This is based on the character of people who are not the same, so each of them has a different way of interacting.
IDN is holding the Indonesia Millennial and Gen-Z Summit (IMGS) 2024, an independent conference specifically organized for and involving the Millennial and Gen Z generations in the country.
