List of cellphones that have received
the latest Android 15
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Google introduced their newest operating system, namely Android 15. In the early stages, Android 15 Beta can usually only be tried by Pixel cellphone users.
However, Google opened Android 15 Beta 2 access for non-Pixel phones and tablets. Cellphones from other Android vendors such as Realme, Xiaomi and Vivo can already sample this latest version of Android.
Google hasn’t said when the stable version of Android 15 will be released, but it’s expected to happen alongside the launch of the Pixel 9 series, likely in October 2024.
In appearance, Android 15 looks very similar to previous versions of Android, but there are a few changes Google is introducing with this update . There are also functionality updates to several important features.
One of the features that was just announced, along with the release of Android 15 Beta 2, is Private Space.
This feature allows users to create a separate space on their devices that can keep sensitive apps away from prying eyes, under an additional layer of authentication.
Private Space uses separate user profiles. So, when the private space is locked by the user, the profile is paused which means the app is no longer active.
The above Android 15 Beta 2 features are already available for eligible Google Pixel phones.
Other Android phones that receive the Android 15 beta will likely receive different builds and features.
